She was messing around and he didn’t care in the moment. Sounds like he was talking trash before the video. He only cares now for the attention.
Not sure she should be fired over that. My friends joke this way all the time now and they are Mexican and Japanese Americans. I understand the difference in friends joking, but it really seemed like he was cool with it in the moment.

Openly cheering a murder does not even come close to the same as joking about ice.
I wouldn’t call for anyone to be cancelled, but I absolutely understand wanting to let someone go that is stupid enough to cheer a murder online.
These were two fans going back and forth trash talking. I think it’s trashy and she shouldn’t do it, but I don’t think she should lose her job over it, but that’s the world we live in now. I thought the LSU woman at the CWS calling Sanchez a “black b” was worse than this exchange.
My Japanese friend who is also a Dodgers fan use to go to Yankees games while traveling in New York and tells me they were really brutal with heckling him and being racist.
This guy didn’t care in the moment. He cares because he made it a viral moment. Just like Sanchez didn’t care until it became a viral moment.
I don’t like seeing someone lose their career over a fan exchange, but don’t say racist jokes and it shouldn’t happen. Be better. I would like to know if he said something equally offensive prior to filming.

I'm questioning the validity of this story to begin with. Stating someone should call ICE is no reason for anyone to lose a job.
Making false accusations is illegal in some jurisdictions.
If you are going to turn someone in to ICE, you should make damn sure the accusation you are making is correct. Otherwise, you're just wasting their time, taxpayer money, and otherwise disrupting an innocent person's life.

I was more pointing to the fact that the guy I replied to justifies her firing under the pretense that her language is malicious. That’s the problem with these people, a certain phrase wanes and waxes based on their feelings.
Therefore, I encourage that poster to walk around public saying the N word. It doesn’t even have to be to a black person. Just try it, make sure to video it, and we will resync in a week to validate his employment status. If he’s just trying to fit in, there shouldn’t be any issues based on his (dumbfrick) logic

Do the Dodgers have some fans who are illegal? No doubt. Do those people make up a "large percentage" of Dodger fans? I guess that depends upon your definition of "large percentage." Besides, how would we ever make a determination as to how large the percentage is?

Whenever a lib goes on a rant about having their right to free speech infringed, we (conservatives) always remind them that exercising your right comes with consequences.
This lady exercised her right to free speech.
She publicly accused a person of being an illegal immigrant without having a shred of evidence, exposing herself as a bigot.
The moment was captured on video and went viral. Customers of her law firm know who she is. That does not play well with the partners because it negatively impacts the public perception of her firm. They cut her loose.
Consequences.
