Feinstein to GOP: Show some heart to Kavanaugh accuser
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (Calif.), the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, is calling on colleagues to “show some heart” and wait until at least next Thursday to bring before the panel the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault.
She argued that Republicans have no good reason not to wait another day to accommodate Ford’s request.
“It’s just an extra day, why not wait 24 hours?” she said. “Show some heart. Wait until Dr. Ford feels that she can come before the committee.”
I'm so glad we have her in the Senate as she brings quite a bit of honesty and compassion with her to the committee meetings and in press photo ops.

If this is her true motivation, why did she sit on the assault allegation for months? I'd sure like to hear an answer to that

Yep, Thursday pushes the confirmation so that Kavanaugh possibly won’t be seated this court session. No reason at all....

Update:
The GOP has been told that Ford does not want to fly from her California home to Washington, according to the Republican senator, which means she may need to drive across the country to make the hearing.
Ford has reportedly told friends she is uncomfortable in confined spaces, indicating a physical difficulty in making the trip by plane.

Thats exactly what I was thinking, did she have a relapse of that "cold" that makes her say and do stupid things like when she released Simpson's testimony. The testimony that Ohr contradicted so he lied.
