I already figured this, but good to hear anyway.

It's not.

Trump needs to walk this tweet back as soon as possible as he just walked himself into a corner.

He can get himself out of this blunder by clearly outlining what will cause him to veto a DACA bill and what concessions he will need in order to sign it.

Without clear limits to what the president will accept, Congress’s debate over DACA will slouch towards amnesty and that will be prodded by media hysteria, Democrats’ lust for votes, and GOP fear of the donor class. This will be true if Trump is seen to be cheering for a DACA-like outcome.

I will ask this question: If he extends DACA won't he be going against his original argument that it is unconstitutional?

YES and that's what he did today!

The President is boxed in on this issue. Ryan and McConnell have to bail him out. The thing is Trump probably lost any hope of the RAISE Act or funding for the Wall with that tweet. Trumps dealing now from a very weak position IMO

Well, look who upped his game... now you're seeing what's going on. His fricking twitter is now official statements from the WH. I want to see the Raise Act passed or at least a number system for entry. We may lose that now.

ETA: Sentrius, now you see why I am so critical of this Administration. I can't stand watching amateur hour when we need things passed. We need Trump to be competent and make the deals that will require compromise too.

Not true. He has signed over 50 new laws not counting EOs since taking office.

Disagree. Most Republicans (Independents too) are ready to hold congress accountable. I think Trump is in a very favorable position.

I heard Flimsy Grahamnesty yesterday, "Come to the table, Mr. President. Meet with us to help us." Seriously, do your job Sen. This spoke volumes.
