Agree. Hopefully the ID checkers were very busy.
Our system seems to work better although many dislike the electronic machines.
We get in line, then we reach a poll worker who verified our ID, and we sign the book with the list of all the registered voters in the precinct. Our name is there with a space for our sig. Simple process. If you early vote it says so right there so you can’t vote again.
The results in EBR are usually in two hours after the polls close.

It's ridiculous what has happened to voting/counting processes. Some of it is political, but I'm sure there's a lot of money involved, too. All the machinery used to electronically check a voter in, print his ballot, tabulate his ballot and whatever else is done - I'm sure is big business. Selling it. Servicing/updating it. A hell of a lot more "invested" than a book like you sign into and a paper ballot counted by hand.
In this thread, I've made a lot of 223 voting centers for 250,000 in-person voters. You can't tell me that a staff of 6 or 8 couldn't hand count/tabulate the votes of (on average) 1100 ballots by midnight if polls close at 7.

plus I'm sure systems can be hacked. anyone who complains about Dominion deserves to be in hell a day just to see how it is so they straighten out.
imagine its a movie.
there's a hotshot computer hacker. handsome as humanly possible and yet brilliant in ways we learn in the first 20 minutes. he wins the day. its he who defeats the evil empire by rigging the election.
only paper saves our democracy from handsome hacker. save the republic.
no more computers in elections.

There are rumors flying around here that a discrepancy is going to be reported from a county (not Maricopa) that will make up more than half of Abe Hamadeh’s deficit in the AG race. If this is true, that brings the margin down to 200 votes or so, and now we go back to Anthem, the remote vote center that actually did see exceedingly long lines - reasonable to think a couple hundred people walked off of 2 hour lines or didn’t bother going to the poll because of that kind of wait? That would be disenfranchisement at a level that casts results in doubt.

The long line in Anthem matters. Not for KL, but for Abe.
