Why did they postpone? Is it because they don't have shite and need more time to throw shite up against the wall praying it sticks?

This is an example of why Jack fired up his second case in DC.
Jack is about to be exposed as the bought and paid for litigator he is. In the end Jack shite will be his identity. He will have made millions upon millions, so he will gladly fade away.

Yeah everyone knew that first trial date was never going to happen. Not with a case involving classified documents.

Microcosm of online debate. Dude doesn't even know which side wants a delay.

Because the Feds did a classified documents case yet refuse to let the Trump team even see what he is accused of having illegally.
One of the basic foundations of our legal system is being able to see your accusers and the evidence against you.

but it is the only one with a shred of legitimacy because taking home classified documents is, on it's face, illegal.
The scarier issues are the charges that don't involve the classified nature of the documents and are obstruction-related.

She got played by Trump lawyers. They hedged and filed for a delay in DC as well. So if that trial is delayed, what is the basis for either ruling. Reasonable judge would have required the defense to pick one.

I think judge cannon would make a great Supreme Court judge

I doubt any of these criminal prosecutions end up going on their first fixings. Motion practice hasn't even really started on any of them.

That's an assumption, but the basis for a delay resides in her GIVEN belief that the prosecution can not keep up with two simultaneous trials.

I really think Trumps only out on this case is to get elected and have the AG drop the case. Lying about having the docs was clearly a crime. The other charges may be piling on but lying when subpoenaed about having the docs is not good for Trump.

The size of the discovery is immense, there isn't a SCIF in Fort Pierce, FL, and not all the defense attorneys yet have security clearance to view the items.
ABC News was reporting more on volume than other sources. At the beginning of the week, when the defense went to the SCIF, the classified materials alone were over 5300 pages. ABC News
Right now, the defense cannot even load the video on their computers. They estimated it would take 10 years to go through the materials. ABC News

Agreed. More process crimes.

Considering the DOJ has said they don’t have the resources to investigate Biden, isn’t that an astute assumption?

Which docs, specifically?

Read the subpoena. He lied when he said he didn't have them and the raid proved that.

No leverage - no case.

think the answer is no, and Trump wins, he can always just fire the special prosecutor and/or pardon himself.
quote:I think they are running out of time for this to be possible.
The only hope the Dems have is to get him convicted before he is becomes the President again.
