this comes close to admitting that no matter how establishment or liberal Mrs Clinton's judicial nominees would have been, Trump is now fully accountable for his own choices.

I agree because the last administration obviously held Hilary accountable for mishandling classified information. God knows Ivankas clothing line is of utmost importance.

The thing that baffles me is that Senator Schumer did the same thing about a restaurant. He stated that the veal was the best he had ever had or something to the effect.

This is absolutely true.
If the Left can destroy Trump, and they will have almost the whole world helping them to do so, it will be the end of US politicians that work for middle class private sector working US citizens.
The Left wants to subjugate traditional USA and replace it with something less prosperous and less sovereign. MOST of the rest of the world wants them to succeed so they can feed off of the carcass.

Very true. I remember right away, I think it was Mitch McConnell, saying it was the GOP goal to make Obama a one termed. I don't recall if the GOP held up cabinet appointments and I know there weren't calls for impeachment but at least legislatively the GOP wasnt going to let the Dems accomplish any goals.
I want and expect fights over policy. I don't like the constant witch hunts.

Well I think this would be the end result if the Left gets it's way. I think some Leftists actively want this. They're the ones who hate western civilization. The Muslim apologists, the BLM crew. I think the bulk of the Left simply, naively, thinks people are inherently good and the US can absorb infinite numbers of huddled masses and it suffer for it.
But let's not forget the other big proponent of open borders, and that's the business sector that wants the cheap labor at all costs.
