There's got to be some big gotcha in that first phone call, otherwise why dangle it out like that to everybody, and why wait for the perfect timing to release it?

Because, on the call, Zelensky said "Burisma" not "the company" as testified to by Vindman, and as alluded to by the Whistleblower's complaint.
