Why is this a story a full year after this actually took place?

Isn't it neat how the MSM and leftist pols work together to compromise the safety of citizens in order to establish a narrative?
Look at the only Prog responses here. These mentally ill frickers buy this crap and blame the very people that tried to help.
This was clearly intentional.
This entire narrative is being set up for Florence. Dems see this destruction as another narrative to build. They want devastation.
Don't let a good crisis go to waste, you know?

How’d all that water get there?
And what senator owns the company that charged 10 bucks a bottle for it?

Hey Mayor Bitch..there sits the water. Instead of calling press conferences to whine, tell people WHERE THE FREAKING WATER AND FOOD IS.
Instead of photo ops for the media to bash Trump...line up truckers and people to distribute supplies. You had the authority. Hell anyone here could have done a better job than you. You wanted to play Commie politician rather than help the people of PR.
Trump got the supplies there, what did you want him to do, wipe your arse for you?

Why would she do that?
That's not the goal here.

Will J-Lo and her arse try and blame this on the Trump administration instead of her fellow leftists in PR?
Just shut up, sock puppet.

BS. That water is less than a 1/2 mile from a four lane highway, 2 miles from downtown Cieba, or about 3300 feet walking from the largest neighborhood in Cieba. That water is sitting there because the locals would rather die of thirst than walk a mile for water, or they didn't need it.

? @chefjoseandres
My teams @WCKitchen @natemook @ErinSchrode knew about it but first they will say no we can not use them, months later water was no good for human consumption. We were “buying” water because they wouldn’t give it to us @ricardorossello we need an official independent investigation!

been reading the replies to that tweet, its insane the levels of stupidity expressed.
somehow turning over stuff to the local government is seen as a failure to help
its a country unto itself and we cant just come in like an invasion even if we wanted to but liberal idiots see nothing but its all trumps fault the mayor is a crook, its all trumps fault the food was stolen by the very officials it was given to, its trumps fault and entire runway full of water turned over to the PR gov agency dedicated to distributing it was not given to the people
the cult of liberalism is strong and truth and logic cannot penetrate it nor can clear visible evidence right before your eyes and confessions by corrupt officials or eye witness reports of its all the PR gov refusing to help the people.
for christ sake, in the aftermath of a huge disaster they required people to show up with photo IDs and copies of water bills before they would get and food or water supplies

I can guarantee you one thing. A few C31's are on route to pick up the water in the next four hours to pick up that surplus water to use for distribution in NC/SC/GA
Posted on 9/12/18 at 11:03 am to MrLSU
Now this is real government waste. Figure they bought the water on the super cheap at $.10 a bottle and well we can all do the math.
I agree with the earlier poster who stated that someone was probably trying to figure out a way to sell this water and keep the profits for themselves and it didn't work out, so they just let it sit there and spoil..

besides the PR nightmare of "see, this proves trump held it back, and now he is stealing water from PR people who are still dying over there"
its spoiled now, and no im not talking about the internet BS about plastic leaching in sunlight crap
but after about a month the chemicals in water to stop bacteria growing wears off and it needs to be boiled to avoid getting sick from drinking it

Bottled Water Meant for Hurricane Victims Cover Entire Runway in Puerto Rico

The federal response to Hurricane Maria is under scrutiny again after photos show what appear to be millions of water bottles meant for victims of the storm still sitting on a runway in Ceiba, Puerto Rico.

Why didn't FEMA distribute the water? No leadership.
FEMA gets a lot of blame for a lot of things that is well deserved, but you can't blame them here. They got the water there. The locals should have distributed it. Hell the locals could have said "come and get it" and that would have been better than it just sitting there.
