This is silly, what isn’t is that our founding fathers would be appalled st the level of oppression, policing, restricting of freedom and it’s worst form, violence, people of all races suffer from in the name of law and order.
They suffer a lot more from democrat governors during fake crises.

Putting aside the fact the Tea Partiers went to extra efforts to damage no property beyond confiscating the tea and dumping it overboard, the Boston Tea Partiers targeted the British East India Company — which was for all practical purposes an asset of the British Crown.
This claim would only make sense if it was Target’s private police force that was responsible for the killing and the Boston Tea Partiers destroyed or looted the local black-smithery, grain mill, cobbler, butcher, baker and candlestick maker in addition to torching the Company’s ships docked in Boston Harbour.

People are stupid. One protest specifically targeted the government and was actually organized. This was people destroying and burning down private property. Maybe it’s natural selection that they didn’t arm themselves.

If they were burning down government buildings or police cars, maybe. But Targets and Autozones, no.

Dumping the tea was a direct act of defiance against the British Govt and British East India Trading Co. The act made sense, and it didn’t destroy private citizens lives

To be honest on this, I don’t blame MN citizens lighting police cars on fire. You got to keep in mind that the Boston Massacre only 5 people died. There is a moment where you should go scorched earth on the government, and this seems to be one of those times, especially since these assholes haven’t been arrested yet.
But burning down private housing, Targets, and Autozones, frick off on that.

I find it frustrating when people spout abject nonsense then act as though they have pointed out some profound truth.
Not so much because they’re wrong, but because they are clearly too stupid to ever see why, and they’re allowed to vote.
These peoples’ critical faculties are legit impaired.

Twitter is Exhibit A in why pandering to minorities will never work for conservatives. You aren't going to win the lion's share of a group of people who are so uneducated that they compare this situation to the Boston Tea Party. Seriously, American conservatives and libertarians should consider the voluntary pooling of resources to purchase existing land from another country to form a new one. When whites become a minority in this country, the descent into dystopia will be quick and painful.

it" and a response to that tweet " thry couldn't shut up about Arab Spring.. showed a million videos of protestors in HK, soiled themselves bc how eager they were to capture tea partiers and we want haircuts people... yet when black people have something to say, it's a problem"
Would buy this one a beer, though I assume it’s a white person now that I re-read it.

The "I'm a bill" episode would clear all this up.
quote:
Boy: Woof! You sure gotta climb a lot of steps to get to this Capitol Building here in Washington. But I wonder who that sad little scrap of paper is?
I'm just a bill.
Yes, I'm only a bill.
And I'm sitting here on Capitol Hill.
Well, it's a long, long journey
To the capital city.
It's a long, long wait
While I'm sitting in committee,
But I know I'll be a law someday
At least I hope and pray that I will,
But today I am still just a bill.
Boy: Gee, Bill, you certainly have a lot of patience and courage.
Bill: Well I got this far. When I started, I wasn't even a bill, I was just an idea. Some folks back home decided they wanted a law passed, so they called their local Congressman and he said, "You're right, there oughta be a law." Then he sat down and wrote me out and introduced me to Congress. And I became a bill, and I'll remain a bill until they decide to make me a law.
I'm just a bill
Yes I'm only a bill,
And I got as far as Capitol Hill.
Well, now I'm stuck in committee
And I'll sit here and wait
While a few key Congressmen discuss and debate
Whether they should let me be a law.
How I hope and pray that they will,
But today I am still just a bill.
Boy: Listen to those congressmen arguing! Is all that discussion and debate about you?
Bill: Yeah, I'm one of the lucky ones. Most bills never even get this far. I hope they decide to report on me favourably, otherwise I may die.
Boy: Die?
Bill: Yeah, die in committee. Oooh, but it looks like I'm gonna live! Now I go to the House of Representatives, and they vote on me.
Boy: If they vote yes, what happens?
Bill: Then I go to the Senate and the whole thing starts all over again.
Boy: Oh no!
Bill: Oh yes!
I'm just a bill
Yes, I'm only a bill
And if they vote for me on Capitol Hill
Well, then I'm off to the White House
Where I'll wait in a line
With a lot of other bills
For the president to sign
And if he signs me, then I'll be a law.
How I hope and pray that he will,
But today I am still just a bill.
Boy: You mean even if the whole Congress says you should be a law, the president can still say no?
Bill: Yes, that's called a veto. If the President vetoes me, I have to go back to Congress and they vote on me again, and by that time you're so old...
Boy: By that time it's very unlikely that you'll become a law. It's not easy to become a law, is it?
Bill: No!
But how I hope and I pray that I will,
But today I am still just a bill.
Congressman: He signed you, Bill! Now you're a law!
Bill: Oh yes!!!
