The problem with the Boeing airplane division is they build planes in Washington. They need to move it to Alabama or Texas. Washington state is too liberal now to have a manufacturing company that actually works.

Too much DEI has entered into the market. They think it’s okay not to be good at work but rather work should be good for them

Moving all those engineering jobs to India to save money has worked out great.
That is what happens when bean counters start running companies.

I wouldnt completely put this on Boeing. The interior is farmed out to a sub and knowing how th pentagon operates and their requirements that are in constant flux, it makes it near impossible to be on schedule.
The Marine One contract was canceled 10 yrs ago because of the constant changing of requirements. Much of these changes added weight and it blew the budget and schedule. It got so bad that late in the game they were going to have to have larger rotors which required a longer tail boom.
So serious structural changes and reanalysis of structure.
These types of things are not simply laying the requirements out, approve the design and then just build it.

Boeing is a private company that started out of an old ship building yard. They get no direct government funding. Sure they get government contracts just like most companies do. The government has contracts for toilet paper and ketchup god's sake. But no, let's believe the liberal and media lies against Boeing.
Boeing would still be a trusted and valued company if it was still run by the engineers. Instead, they are run by sales & marketing and collude with the FAA to get their half assed products to the market without full testing.

They also build planes in Charleston, SC. I thought a lot of AF1's work was being done in San Antonio?
