People aren’t ready for what’s coming with Ai. It’s already hurting the Nashville music industry- the demo market is dead. Every single song demo is Ai now.
It’s coming for all the jobs
It’s coming for all the jobs

We see stories of small businesses closing up fairly often and not just ones that are fairly new. But decades old businesses that have directly attributed the tariffs for closing up shop and saying that they cannot find domestic sources for their products. It isn’t as simple as “Buy American” that gets thrown around here quite often when we literally don’t manufacture certain components. This is of course a wonderful thing for the multinational companies that don’t have these same concerns.

Of course.
Our future is technocracy, or a form of it and I believe these "too big to fail" corporations are a cornerstone of it.
Entrepreneurs are screwed and Big Corp with their economies of scale will be able to survive it all.

If you are going to lie, do it better.

Yes. But we need the private sector hiring in large numbers to make those people resemble something productive.

That's not happening. What is happening is Powell being late has dried up money for businesses.
Rate cut is coming!

Heads must roll with these numbers.
Inb4: can we figure out a way to blame Biden for this?

You can hope all you want, it doesnt change the fact that the business environment has been heavily tilted in BigCorps favor and the current policies are literal stimuluses to them.

Me either, but it’s not like they’re awful numbers. They’re slowing, that’s the point.
Correct.
Would you agree that the rates are keeping businesses on the sideline?
You think about the billion dollar investment and the interest rate to pay that... etc. It adds up quickly.

whats the inflation rate?
At what percentage would you start cutting rates?

To be fair the Fed should always be slow to make a move. They need to see information, trends and the impact of new policies. But we’ve painted ourselves into a corner with what seems to be a reliance on darn near free money fueling the economy.

Eh, maybe. Average hourly earnings continue to outstrip inflation. That’s not exactly a sign of money drying up.

Yeah almost certainly. Fed probably eased .75-1.00 over the next 3 meetings and sits tight again.
