But, mmgrath tells me that I can't expect that much from black students at Howard and that basically ANYONE should know not to expect so much.
I mean. I guess I'll have to take his word for it since apparently, he was correct about the low level of mental acuity in the Howard admin or student body.

What if there was no message? What if it was just two ignorant high school kids who did something that wasn't too bright. I don't know if you've ever been around high school students but they're not too bright.
Shouldn't the people who saw two girls in MAGA hats and took that as some statement on racial oppression ask themselves why they couldn't just ignore them?
How is a 17 y.o girl causing a college student at Howard any discomfort unless you let them?

I don't know freedom of expression maybe. It's a hat of a political candidate that is now the president in the very city in which that university resides. Sure it's possible they may have been doing it to garner a reaction or maybe they just came from a sight seeing trip to the capitol. They were on a high school field trip you know so that's not that far fetched. Maybe a combination of both, either way doesn't excuse the university's reaction. These students need to learn that they are going to face opinions they don't like. I mean the president lives in that city they are going to encounter some pro trump individuals in their lives considering there were about sixty million of them as I recall. You wouldn't see white students act this way to any political opposition and that is the whole point.

I could have a party at my house and invite 100 people with 99 being conservatives 1 being liberal and I cannot even conceive of the shirt or hat the liberal could wear that would generate more than a few good natured ribs followed by a lot of chicken wing eating and beer.
