Didn’t read the article but in my neck of the woods whites use the ER for pill shopping more than blacks. I would think that would be one possible reason.

I don’t think giving more opioids to blacks will improve anything for blacks.

Yeah I was just talking about the reason why they might get them less - perhaps the whites are going to the hospital (ER) pill shopping more .
