That's really what SJW identity politics is all about. The idea of equality and treating everyone fairly was a passing fad.
Now it's all about establishing super complex victimhood and privilege hierarchies. You're allowed to abuse and mistreat those above you on the hierarchy but not below you.

When I lived in Memphis there were at least 3 older black women that sold snacks from their front porch. Nobody ever messed with them.
