As they should. If I had to guess why, I’d probably say that they want to control him because they have league and team bylaws and baseline behavior expectations because he would have been making millions.
“They” have every right to “control” their employees / players because of the money invested in them to represent the team brand.

Teams wanted a QB but not the circus that will come with Prime's son. Shedeur didn't do well in the interview process. The rumor was that he felt entitled. Who is to blame for that. So, 257 players were chosen and a significant number were black. Because one player who has a helicopter and showboating dad who has instilled a sense of entitlement in his son is chosen in the 5th round then this is evidence of racism.
