It shouldn’t be, and on a micro level, it’s not. Lots of shitty parents end up killing their children.

Here are some areas where it gets political:

- There is an ascendant ideology that is highly political, which claims that white society is highly racist against blacks and unspecified (and often illogical) changes must be made to fix it.

- This ideology makes things like parenting styles highly political because it is dangerous to point out cultural differences and deficiencies in lower class black parenting. There is much less of stigma to pointing out deficiencies in lower class white parenting.

- Mixed race adoption is highly political. Many people advocate the position that whites are not suitable parents for blacks and other non-whites, even though there are many more white parents willing to foster black children than vice versa, because whites aren’t capable of teaching black children about white racism.

- The fact that this black couple is fostering a white child makes one wonder what criteria the placement agency is using. The placement criteria is undoubtedly political. Are same race considerations made? Should they be made? Was this couple chosen to foster a white child out of a sense of trying to balance the fact that so many more white parents are fostering black children than vice versa?

- Considering the above sensitivities, is it possible that the placement agency was less thorough than they should have been in vetting this foster couple?

I don’t see this story as political. I don’t care about the color of the skin of those involved. If the media is hiding the story, then that’s a different matter.

It’s a fricked up story no matter the races. But the media needs to report about it and not suppress it.

If the races had been reversed the little black girl would have a movie made about her and then a statue raised in her honor to promote the left.
