I sincerely hope not. I have basically devoted my life to spygate for the last 1.5 years. I have a massive binder I put together with around 600 pages of documents and articles regarding the subject. I spend around 45 minutes every night making sense of it and crafting hypotheses.

I will be devastated if all that work if for naught.

On my laptop, I have more 1080p porn videos in files I have labeled random year mortgage and tax filings than I have documents regarding spy gate.

Everybody knows that Obama, Brennan and the DOJ, FBI and CIA spied on the Trump campaign, tried to set up a bullshite narrative in case he won and tried to frame the President for collusion with Vladimir Putin.

That's about as simple as it gets and anything more than that is just getting into the weeds to outright rocket science.

I think (Hope) Barr is saying the same thing I thought (hoper) he was saying when I read the WAPO Article: “the investigation was conducted fairly, but the ultimate conclusion of guilt or innocence is up to a jury to decide.”

IG report isn’t going to make any determinations or guilt or innocence, but instead defer to a jury or other court for a conclusion on the ultimate issue.

The IG isn’t a voice of God. The IG isn’t the ultimate arbiter. The IG conducts a factual investigation - but the IG has no legal authority aside from personnel decisions. shite, I’m not even sure if he could recommend a criminal referral or someone (cough , example Comey, Strozk, Page) who isn’t the even employed at DOJ anymore.

Maybe (hopefully) the only one recommended for prosecution is the Clinesmith guy bc he’s the only one who hasn’t “retired” or gotten fired (?)

Barr could be saying here that the rumor floating around tonight is false.

That's clearly what he's implying but I'm holding off on starting my haka. I have been practicing though. My drunken Irish ancestors will be confused, but proud nonetheless.

Hopefully Barr has some goods because I enjoy using the nickname that was coined by someone here, "Bucket Nuts Barr"

It’s not up to us to draw a conclusion, Barr needs to prosecute these trashy mother frickers and let’s get on with cleaning our shithole government up.

I agree.

"There's a lot of information there that the American people can read for themselves", does not sound good.

Present the case and the information will speak for itself. Can you think of any other case where the investigators released a statement saying..."Boy..there's a lot of information there. We'll let you read it for yourselves."
Actions speak louder than words.

You ignorant stain.

The IG report has criminal referrals. We know that already.

I want nothing more than for people to be held accountable......but i want it to be people high up on the food chain, not some low level lawyer nobody has heard of.

So basically the exact same playbook the dems used with the mueller report. ‘Draw your own conclusion bc we have nothing to prosecute.’

Kinda looks like that might happen, imo.

Just remember that the guy who will decide if charges will be brought just made a fairly bold pre-release press release as a counter to all the Dem/MSM disinformation gaslighting on info they’ve been trying to “get out ahead of.”

So much this.

My Sexy Unsexy Old Boyfriend, Bill Barr is freaking fearless, and I trust him. Not like “Trust Sessions” trust him, but instead - here’s why.

He’s the smartest lawyer I’ve ever seen working for the Government, in actual legal practice or on television. That speech he made to the Federalist Society was a fricking master class on Executive Powers and was actually interesting and funny. That is really, really hard to do. That dude has not once flinched and the pressure he’s got to be under is amazing. Dude is facing down a every deep state monster he’s known his entire professional life, and politely and eloquently told them all to frick off. He’s prosecuted criminals and worked among them. He knows what they’re capable of but he’s not scared. Yes, that’s inner courage and self assurance. But when you’re a lawyer and you’re that composed and you are facing utter humiliation and going down in flames, in public, you are only that composed when you know, without question, you are right. That is a rare, and powerful thing.

I expect the report to be just as ambiguous as the statement Barr released tonight.

Yep. Barr is saying look at what he wrote, and listen to what he says under testimony.

There is no bigger endorsement.

It could go both ways. Didn't WaPo or some other trash MSM say that Barr/Durham will find more wrongdoing than Horowitz?

We know of one possible criminal indictment, the rogue guy. Maybe the rogue guy is the only leak? Has McCabe been on CNN? Has Brennan? RR came out of the woodwork and tweeted. If anybody would flip it would be RR. He is a little mousey geek POS.

Who knows? I know we should all be sick of this by now. We should all file suit and run them all out of DC for enacting a sad spy novel into reality and not being clear about justice for so long. IOW's tearing our country apart with prog loons thinking they are the majority; and a media that shite the bed such a long time ago that the USSR would envy. It is infuriating.

Honestly, if it were something absolutely damning to anyone, he wouldn't release a statement. Because he would be bringing charges against the damned parties.

Instead, he released an ambiguous statement encouraging people to make up their own minds. I'm sorry, I don't trust half of our society to draw the correct conclusions on anything. If there is some "there" there, he should say, "Bad guys did some bad shite. It's all documented clearly in the report. Read it if you want. Either way, I'm going to put the bad guys in bad-guy jail."
