People on govt assistance are allowed to vote. Practically free apartment, phone, internet, lowered electric bill, free medical card and hundreds in snap benefits every month....and get 12 thousand back on taxes with 6 kids...if your not a tax payer...no voting rights

shite this is close to pay for play.... lol....I mean seriously people on govt assistance excluding unemployment shouldn't be allowed to vote....period....I'm crazy go ahead and downvote

I think the biggest travesty is that more than just American citizens, of proper age, who qualify legally get to vote.

Voting is an American priviledge, and it's not for just any human standing on American soil.

The other bad part is you can have slightly insane and definitely immature people who think they are helping but are not interested in following any election law. These people run out and "register" any mouth breather that walks up to them. No proof of citizenship required -- you're here, you must be a citizen. The dam broke over the summer on this floodgate of potentially widespread illegitimate registration. It has all the earmarks of a typical democrat program, open it up and no one will get their "right" taken away.

Come on man that makes it harder for Dems to buy votes. There would actually have to be societal net gains from all these social programs.

Lets start with dont let the extreme lazy vote. If you can't travel 5 miles or less on the 2nd Tuesday of november, stand in line and vote, then you shouldnt be allowed to vote.
Same with absentee, travel to some location less than 15 miles within the 4 months prior to election to get a ballot.

The extreme lazy have somebody come by there residence, fill out application, turn it in, make sure you get a ballot, fill it out for you, and mail it,

I've been saying this for years.

Ask any PT veteran.
