H3ll no to shutting off immigration. That would be the next business owner, scientist, engineer that we're keeping out. I agree with targeted immigration skewed towards the more skilled.

Why not open Outreach Centers deep in Africa and Mexico? FLY them here on US Air Force cargo carriers.

The next debate with 8 people. Biden finally on stage with all of the progressive nut jobs vowing for who can be the furthest left.
He’s already publicly stated he wants to give free healthcare to illegal immigrants, he supports a Green New Deal, his healthcare plan is Obamacare on steroids (quoted as such by Bloomberg or Wash Post).
He’ll have to eventually come out on student loan debt because Warren and Bernie will drag him there.
He already said he was rescind the TCJA.
And we all know he’s going to be soft on China.
Nothing remotely moderate about Joe as of now.
He will also have to answer about his immigrant sound bite in the OP.

In one way I agree, but I think we have devalued our own workforce so much, I don't want to import the next business owner, scientist or engineer if that means we've abandoned cultivating them at home because homegrown is more expensive. Since I think the latter is more of the case, still for shutting off the border.
