Unions will dominate the landscape during the next two years. It’s such a shame to hard working Americans, and students who just want to learn and be with their friends. Frick the AFLCIO

Expect the other major teachers union including California to follow suit now that Biden has come out in support. These frickers have no intention on returning to the classroom this school year.

Except when he's not.

Ask all the people losing their jobs for his O & G policies.

It’s Chicago, so probably parole officers.

Then Chicago needs to pass a bond issue. That what local school districts do.

Makes me so thankful for my kid's school. The teachers fought as hard as anyone to get the kids back in the classroom. We've been 100% classroom since returning to school in September (due to Hurricane Laura).

you have schools that are falling apart already, where are they going to get the money for "new ventilation systems"?

and for every CFM exhausted out of the building you need the same amount + about 10% taken in as outside air, that needs to be cooled or heated before going back to the building space. and you cant just add better filters, as the added static pressure drop could be larger the the capacity of the units fans. And covid particles are smaller them filtration media in most situations

and what makes Chicago special from the rest of the schools around the nation that are back to in person classes......

Look a the type of kindergartner logic this is.

Just ranting about things we "need" and not dealing with the reality of the situation.

It would cost hundreds of millions of dollars and take years to do all the things he says we "need"

So I guess we just don't have school in the meantime?

If we had a functional media in this country they'd call him out for his pathetic pandering and demand actual solutions to actual real world problems.
