PSLF is a program set up by Congress and signed into law by President George W. Bush.
Most of the forgiveness claimed is PSLF. Congress also set up some loan discharge programs for those permanently disabled or where the college (shady for profits) in question defrauded it's students.

I know numerous people with college loan debt. Don’t know anyone who has received debt forgiveness.

Hey idiot- it's a law that allows and requires the loan to be reduced. So Biden has nothing to do with it. His statement on forgiveness is a lie if it is through this program. The people automatically have it done without him doing anything.
