The banks will still take in in the shorts. These people have low credit scores because they dont pay their existing bills on time.
What makes people think that just because they signed their names 200 times on a mortgage that that behavior will change?
They could give them mortgages with 1% interest and these people would still not pay back the loan.
All this will do it increase the number of foreclosures.
