Well they did pay into it for 30-40 years so I’d want something as well. They need to just give everyone under the age of 40 the option to opt out of SS and offer a tax credit or something so we can get rid of this broken system. I’d gladly take it on the chin and lose out on the money I’ve paid in for 10 years if it gets me out of paying for the next 30 years.

Social Security is running dry yet Bernie wants to greatly expand it

SS is and always has been a generational wealth transfer
Here's a picture of her in 1950, some 117 checks later, with her latest monthly payment of $41.30:
And here she is again in 1966, with her 312th check, this time for $84.35:
She passed away in 1975 at age 100, some 106 checks later, having received a combined payout of $22,888.92 over her 35 years of retirement.
She had paid in exactly $24.75 in payroll deductions.

It should be clear by now that Bernie is a full blown Socialist. He wants to drag people backwards so that everyone is in the same class save for people like him.
Why isn’t one of our intelligence agencies taking care of him like they did JFK?

Careful. You just triggered a lot of Boomers who don’t think they are sucking on that government tit because they contributed to the Ponzi scheme.

Well, if you write a book, you could be a millionaire too.
Hopefully you have a campaign that shells out 500K for some of them too.
