Does it bother you that your union dues are being used to support the campaigns of candidates that you would never vote for?
You realize that's prohibited by federal and some states law?

The party leaders will toe the line. The rank and file will not. Bernie has embraced both open borders as well as free housing, food stamps, and college for all illegals.
I never thought I'd see the day when there is a legitimate chance of having a socialist/communist in the White House.

It's starting to look like Bernie may get the nomination. Are the Unions going to endorse him over Trump?
No way.

There are so many fascinating things about a Bernie / Trump matchup. I can’t believe so many people don’t want to see it. It would be amazing.

Do you realize you can spend money supporting a candidate without giving it directly to a campaign or a PAC, right?

Fourteen labor unions were among the top 25 political campaign contributors.
Three public-sector unions were among the 14 labor groups: the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees; the National Education Association; and the American Federation of Teachers. Their combined contributions amount to $150 million, or 15 percent of the top 25’s approximately $1 billion in donations since 1989.

It's still amazing to me that people support this.
Not hyperbole. He is running on open borders, free healthcare for all including illegals, free college for all and raising taxes on everyone, not just the rich folks.
Where are the moderate Democrats? Have they become a myth?
Or is this a David Duke / Edwin Edwards scenario where the moderates will vote Trump but they will keep quiet about it.

Union leadership will do what the DNC tells them to do.
Now the members? No, they won't vote for Bernie. Bernie's policies will result in worse health care for them, and more job competition.
