Trump is doing this for another reason. He knows the Dems won't agree to any sort of border enforcement and he is attempting to show the world how unreasonable they are. He's done the same thing on other topics.

Are you a criminal if you roll through a stop sign? No. Being in this country is a civil offense and instead of paying a fine the consequence is often deportation

He actually upped the ante to 2 million DACA kids as part of a comprehensive immigration compromise. Dems could have fixed this in January, but they refused to negotiate because they really don't want the issue to be fixed. They want to use these people to bludgeon their political enemies.

I told you baws that Trump is trolling the left and they can't see it. He is making an offer that solves the problem they're bitching about, but still requires the illegals to be deported. Dems wont back it because it's never been about the kids, it's about flooding America with new voters. Trump is going to force them to admit it.
