FTR, why criticisms Ben have nothing to do with him being a Jew.

My criticisms of him involve the fact fact that he is a high road Pollyanna that wants the right to take butter knives to gun fights.

His ilk believes it is ok to lose your country as long as you were nice along the way.

I give no quarter to any conservative that can’t acknowledge the full court press the left is running.

Eh...he's heavy handed on the Israel shite but he's pretty reasonable on everything else. I think his biggest problem is he can't just make a point, it always has to be an argument. He can make one hell of an argument, but he can't make a point.

In all fairness Shapiro did rip Bill Kristol on his show this week - basically saying that he went off the deep end and turned into Max Boot when Trump won the presidency. I think he has friends that are writers at the WS so maybe that’s his angle.

I agree though, his feigned surprise at Trump when Trump punches back is tiresome. I enjoy Shapiro’s quick wit and his takes on social issues, but his establishment politics can be a drag sometimes.

Bill Kristol did always seem like the grossest humans alive. Just slimy, pedo vibe...

So Shapiro's response as Yuck makes sense. Bill Kristol was just slimy...creepy, weirdo on Face the Nation, etc.

Bill Kristol just gave off a yucky you don't want your children around him Joe Biden vibe.

Just creepy people in Washington who flourished in the 90's.

Kristol stirred that hornets nest and deserves it. Shapiro knows Trump is going to hit anyone that hits him that's common knowledge and it is a strength when dealing with the Left.

It might not be polite, but you have it to do. No more Mr. Nice Guy the media and the Commies will bury you.

In the French Revolution they lined up people for the guillotine.

I am pretty sure the guy 12th in line was never all that amped about the cheers for the first in line either.

George Prescott Bush is by far the best Bush to be fair. He endorsed Trump as Trump was still mocking his father, Jeb.

I'd say even more so, because they are deceivers. They are wolves in sheep clothing. That's why during the midterm elections, instead of voting straight GOP, I took 3-4 extra minutes to cast a vote in each race. We have a Bush who is currently Land Commissioner, and there is NO DAMN WAY I will ever vote for another bought-and-paid-for global elitist puppet named Bush.

I don’t blame you there.

Nothing new. Shapiro’s loyalty lies with Israel not the United States. The sooner you realize this the easier it is to ignore him.

I never have really paid much attention to Weekly Standard. I was just as much commenting on the tenor of Trump's comments as who/what they were directed at.

I read a couple of articles on the exploits of the Weekly Standard and I can appreciate where your criticism comes from.

I can’t respect a man who goes against his family, especially for such a naked political motivation.

Shapiro can kiss my arse. Shapiro loves to talk the conservative game...but in the end like a teenage girl whose feelings are hurt emotion and anger prevail over logically supporting an ally to your cause.

I think it is more cruel not to acknowledge his existence. He is simply not response worthy.

He’s just playing the long. He’s going to run for Governor after Abbots final term in 2022. From there he’ll run for President.

The apple doesn’t fall from the tree. Don’t think his endorsements of trump are coming from good faith.
