So now we know who has Session's balls in their pocket!
The asst AG is in control of the AG. ....Maybe RR has pictures of Sessions fricking a goat behind a barn in Alabama...or other dirt that would send Sessions to jail or at the least very embarrassed. It's beginning to make sense.

I was hopeful, too. Just seems like there's been deliberate crap coming from him all along. I'm sure there's positive stuff going on behind the scenes but can't help think deep state every time I hear about sessions.

Knowing the situation, what could he have done to make it less of a threat? Not inform POTUS?

Answers don't end in question marks. Even giving you the benefit of the doubt and trying to infer your intent - none of what you wrote makes sense.

The situation - Sessions has done nothing. Sessions has been the biggest obstacle to Trump's presidency. Sessions has been called out by everyone, EVERYONE, including friends he's had for decades. The only person / group that hasn't called him out is the Q cult.

Less of a threat would be the absence of thought or intention to leave your post because POTUS might, possibly fire an underling, especially one that is a material witness and also a party to the scandal aimed at removing the POTUS.

Maybe Sessions is a bag of shite. Maybe you're just not ready to admit that. Maybe you should stop listening to Q.

Interesting self-characterization.

Was Lois Lerner put under oath and forced to testify
No.
She refused to testify. She pled the 5th.

Despite that admission of possible self-incrimination, a Grand Jury was never asked to hear her case.

According to Trumpkins, it’s called winning.
If you think he’s mad now....just wait.

Inside 90 days til the party starts! Can’t wait to see the invitation list.

You've not read my posts about Sessions and the disservice he did Trump by not delineating possibility of recusal prior to accepting the AG post. I also think Sessions has been at least low profile, if not worthless as AG.

Absence of thought is incompatible with the AG job.

It is not incompatible with PB posts though.

So presume Rosenstein is fired. How do you get the next Deputy AG through the Senate process? Who oversees the Muller investigations in the meantime? Who oversees and interfaces with the FBI?

Far more difficult for the Senate to forestall an AG nominee, than an Asst AG. Sessions knows that.
