Is it dangerous around LSU's campus? If so, that would suck if you had a kid going to school. No parent wants to pay big bucks for their kid to be in danger.

Bluntly, yes. North gates back up against some really shitty areas in particular. There’s also Tigerland not too far away which is a fricking crime ridden hellhole.

Remember when Broome ran her campaign during the election, on police reform? Broome spoke about possibly removing current Baton Rouge Police Chief Carl Dabadie...and she did so, once she was elected.
She wanted a black man to head up the police force, thinking that would turn Baton Rouge around. Well, it hasn't and he hasn't achieved what she thought he would.
Time for a change? In both the mayor and the police chief.
