So a bunch of billionaires purchased cheap stock in a large bank that was about to fail. This is news why?
A bunch of Russian billionaires and Wilbur Ross, Trump's Secretary of Commerce, who was co-chair of the bank until he left to take a position in the trump administration.

Given you're wrong about everything, I'll assume the same is true on this topic

The article referenced the Panama Papers only to show that the Bank of Cyprus was referenced 4,657 times in the PP. The article is from December 2017, and has nothing to do with the PP.
So the article had everything to do with the Panama Papers...
Got it.
Without the PP this article doesn’t exist...

The fact Richard Blumenthal was apparently too lazy to review the disclosures Ross provided during confirmation, or too incompetent to understand them notwithstanding, this is old news.

Please enlighten me. The article you cite is giving can bfusing information.
Is Wilbur Ross or Viktor Vekselberg the largest shareholder?
If the article is unable to get simple information such as this, why should I believe it.....,,.,,.,or you?

Bank of Cyprus
Can't imagine any shady dealings going on there.....

-Dmitry Rybolovlev, Russia's "Fertilizer King," owns a 3.3 percent stake in the bank. Rybolovlev purchased Trump's mega mansion in Palm Beach for $95 million, which allowed Trump to more than double his $41 million investment in the property in four years. The timing of the purchase was essentially a Trump rescue package Trump was suing Deutsche Bank, his one remaining creditor, to try to avoid repaying a $40 million real estate loan.
This is the only thing that's got some potential, the rest is playing 6 degrees.

It really all depends on if the property was legitimately valued at the sale amount.

What? A property is worth what someone is willing to pay for it

Trump has said he had no business ties to Russia, and that he knew of no one in his administration who did either.
I'm just pointing out how unlikely that is, even though it will have deminimis effect.
It is a demonstrated fact that once a person decides to vote for candidate it is almost impossible to dislodge that loyalty no matter what the candidate may do, or have done.
That's why the Access Hollywood tape had virtually no effect on Trump supporters - even the Evangelicals.

Yes. However someone paying over twice the value is sure to raise some eyebrows.

How do you know what the value is? You cant comp those properties so its worth what someone is willing pay for it

I don't. That's why I said it depends on what the value of the property was at the time of the sale.
