It’s almost like the best option for immigration is Eastern Europe. Middle East a little worse. Sub Saharan Africa? Wow. Impressively bad.

Europeans are uniquely intelligent
The correct (and ruthless) immigration policy would focus almost entirely on Europe. They bring more, but they would also promote social cohesion which we should value.

I would like to know if any research has been done for the US. My gut tells me no, because the left controls the narrative, and they don’t want the truth to get out.

The data may exist, or at least you'd be able to track how the average IQ has dropped due to immigration.

I have an assumed guess that first world countries need an average IQ of at least 97 or 98 to remain so. Below that you start getting into what you might find in Colombia or Brazil. Below 90 you start getting into corrupt dictatorships because the population is poor and easily manipulated and controlled. Below 80 you have widespread poverty and violence.
The main issue is people have the causation backwards. The low IQ causes poverty and famine, not the other way around. You take everything away and put everyone on a level playing field and it would look exactly the same after a single generation. People just refuse to accept it however.

And I would add that culture is downstream of genetics, and ultimately the landscapes that shaped us. For example I buy the idea that northern Europeans are smarter because of cold weather, and how that shaped selection.
This also means that not everyone can live like us, because they're not capable of building and sustaining a culture like ours.

Drop a high IQ population in North America, you end up with the 13 colonies.
Put a low IQ population in charge, you get modern Haiti.

Umm, not sure that’s how it works.
Egyptians, or possibly those who came before, built the Pyramids while Northern Europe was still living in thatch hovels or caves.
Gobekli Tepe was built even before that…
