quote:It's amazing that they accuse trump of authoritarianism when the man leading 2020 primary polls is an actual socialist who has not only spoken positively about Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro, but HAD HIS HONEYMOON in the soviet union because he respected it so much.
I've seen about as much authoritarian rule out of him as I saw socialism from Obama.
All you sheep prone to fear mongering are fricking up the country.
Bernie Sanders is the closest thing we have to an authoritarian in america today.

Thats some real paranoid fantasy you have there
The ridiculousness of living in tiny bubbles

It's doomsday BS that is commonly seen by people whose preferred party is out of power. "Everyone I don't like is a dictator!"
These people are either fairly simply, badly educated, or a combination of the two.
They can’t seem to figure out what Trump is doing, and attack it on the merits. Instead, they reach for these lazy adhominens, that are too tired, and too inaccurate, to carry any weight.

Trump speaks to the weak and angry.

Good times...

Every party has its authoritarian impulses, but the Democratic mission, with its centralization of power in DC, and it’s overt desire to reshape the American way of life, is incredibly authoritarian.

Not even the conservatives on this board think you make more than 40k

I can’t understand these people, ergo they must be racist.

Yet we have had republican politicians assaulted twice this year by democrats.
Pretty sad to see you, a good person, just completely brush away anyone who had legitimate reasons for voting for trump.
It's like you think only people who look like you are allowed to air grievances.

You folks do nothing to go against that stereotype.
Poli Board in a nutshell "omg they think we are racist! Lets start 10 threads about how black people have the lowest IQ!"
its fine man.

Despite any grievances i might have I have never voted for a presidential candidate like Trump. Being upset over Obama is not a grievance. Its pathetic.

Hes also fomenting anger.
The entire Dem convention was a celebration of fear and anger

Can you rephrase this post?

Do you feel the same about Trump?

Ehh Trump voters seem more mad than ever after winning.

I was able to look past Trumps boorish behavior.
He’s a capable politician, and he’s done good things for this country.
