The CDC’s most recent data shows around 30,000–35,000 new HIV diagnoses per year nationwide. It’s not plausible that 20,000 of those would be in Atlanta alone in just 8 months.

Atlanta is an absolutely disgusting stain on what otherwise is an amazing state everywhere else. Even Savannah the second most liberal part of GA (maybe tied with Athens), which I live in a suburb of that’s red, is actually really nice.
People aren’t flocking to GA as much as TX, FL, and TN but it’s in the top 5-6 of states of most interstate migration. frick Atlanta
