Your guy wasn't that smart. He aimed something (they wouldn't know if it's a taser or a gun he had on him) after breaking free and starting to run.

I mean, I'm not really at all interested in deescalation. Don't start something with a cop, won't be anything to deescalate. Start something... and whatever follows... that's on you, not the cop. It really isn't rocket science.

That’s what the initial report said, I’ve since edited the post.
You need to edit it better. Also you need to change the title of your thread. The security camera footage shows at the time the guy was shot he had stopped fleeing and was pointing or attempting to point a stolen weapon at a LEO.

What was the LEO suppose to do? Talk to him about white fragility while the suspect him shoots him with his stolen weapon?

You are trying to compare two completely different things - one is how we, as a society, decide to punish our worst offenders. The other is when a person (or in the case a police officer) can reasonably defend their life with lethal force.

While the top portion was 100% true (frick that count and thank god for the my parents who adopted me and helped change my life). This is some very fine projection.
I have a really, really good feeling that a guy with the name “redbone” graduated HS. I picture you missing half your teeth and wear overalls with no shirt under. Along with that I’m assuming you wear a 10 year old worn out ducks unlimited hat and work at a mechanics shop. Not actually working on the cars though, you just change oil and handle check outs.
