Damn, you must have a long arrest and criminal record.

Not at all. I just understand that cops are government agents that relish the authority they are given.

Takes a real bootlicker to think kicking someone in the head, while they are cuffed on the ground, is acceptable.

Hell, kicking someone in the head is frowned upon in damn barfights.

Damn right...resist and suffer the consequences is the story about 99.9 % of false flag racism.

Assault with a deadly weapon. Kicking someone in the head can do massive fricking damage. This isn't even allowed in the most brutal fighting sports. Let alone a policing tactic for someone restrained already

Well, sometimes folks get the policing they deserve...

Surprised he didn't go with that from the first.

Hell, one of the Capital cops was claiming trauma because someone dropped a hard R.

Agreed. Let's apply this to the so-called martyrs of 2020.

Had we had social workers remedy this situation, this wouldn't have even happened.

You act like he kicked her head in. Now, if you are just trying to setup a double standard situation then I’ll allow it.

I probably would have done the same if she spit on me. I don’t know what that trashy bitch has.

She needs to sue.

I am almost always on the side of victims of alleged police brutality. Matter of fact, this may be the first time I have ever sided with the board majority on one of these cases.

I'm not a lawyer, but I think suing is a big longshot, and that's saying something given the hypersensitivity we've developed over this stuff.

To successfully sue you have to be able to prove damages. I didn't see anything about that "kick" that could have possibly caused any damages.

I agree that it was disrespectful and inappropriate. But on the violence impact scale it was like a one and a half out of ten. It certainly weren't no George Floyd Part II, Electric Boogaloo.

Among others.

In the grand scheme, this kick isn't that big of a deal. The punishment fit the crime of spitting, IMO. It seemed to have stopped her from doing it again. I'm just playing devil's advocate regarding the double standard of sensationalizing this in the media, which is why OP brought it to our attention in the first place.

Eh, I think Saint George got the policing he deserved... Not saying he deserved to die, but his previous actions and encounters with LE (along with many of his contemporaries) certainly led to the attitude that was displayed during his arrest...

However, in this situation, since the ATL has run off LE officers in droves at the demand of the overall population of those that wish not to be policed in any manner, you have to expect the quality of LE to have diminished and the brazeness of certain parts of the population to have increased...

Like I said earlier, I really have no sympathy for any involved...

Makes sense.

No try to imagine which buildings in Atlanta would be on fire as we speak if the handcuffed person was a black female and the officer doing the kicking was a white male (with the exact same set of circumstances otherwise).
