When the media lied to the public and didn't tell them FDR was crippled?

Like the other poster wrote -- they aren't corrupt. They are completely loyal and do solid work for their masters who demand that they provide information and propaganda services for the Globalist Internationalist Left.

The mass media talking heads are paid enough to have a lifestyle of great prestige, comfort and generational wealth. They live the life of the "jet-setter class".

I would say that this is the first time in history that the entire "legacy" mass media are a fully owned subsidiary of the Globalist Internationalist Left.

Agreed, but are they as egregious now as they were during FDR's time? Before the internet who knew what really happened?

They decided they knew what was best for Americans, and purposefully misled the public. Then the politicians they got elected wrote the history books, and now kids are taught that it was honorable for the media to decide what was best for Americans.

Not an alter. Long time TD reader, but never posted. My dyslexia causes me to skip words and make silly writing mistakes so I never joined. I'm sure my intelligence will be questioned at some point by the grammar/spelling heros, but I don't care anymore. Those people are usually pretty bad socially, and have considerabley less education/intelligence.

Screw 'em, spelling is about the least important "skill" there is - just look it up when you see the red squiggly line.

Grammar is more important but if you get the noun-verb agreement right you are mostly okay.

Thanks. I think the heightened political sensitivity and/or my lack of articulation made some people think I was making excuses for the media.

I was simply making the point that the media has been running things for a reallly long time, and the people they get elected write the history books.

Who really knows what happened years ago?

Why do you have the opinion of hiding FDR's physical disability was so egregious? They were only being polite.

This sort of thing goes on even today. Charles Krauthammer uses a wheelchair but he's never pictured sitting in it.

We no longer have "news media". They have become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Globalist Left and their purpose is to serve as the propaganda and information outlet service of that cabal. They do their jobs well and they absolutely will not report any news that might tend to work against that agenda.

Because he was the President, and obviously it could have impacted his performance. I'm not saying to show it every chance they had, but at least inform the people.

Everyone and their Mother knows Charles is crippled. That's never been hidden. Their may be a better examples out there, but Charles and FDR are apples and oranges.

They didn't do it to be polite. They did it so he would be elected and stay elected...

When Barack Obama weaponized the IRS against his political adversaries and it was a less than 24 hour news story.

If a Republican pulled that shite that politician would’ve been tarred and feathered and crucified upside down on the cover of Time magazine.
