Look at how rapidly CO2 has increased:

However ironically the death due to climate related events have DRASTICALLY decreased the last 30 years as CO2 has increased. Deaths from drought, floods, storms and wildfire are fantastically low. This is really good news.

So this isn't a "we're fricked" thread? Are we fricked?

If more people would drive Teslas, then maybe we could put a stop to all these earthquakes

"Climate change event" = weather? Because Mother Nature is a ruthless bitch, most of the time.

Oh, we're fricked, it's just not from climate change.

Maybe, maybe not.

The Alarmists do not have a great track record of their apocalyptic predictions:

Right.

I would argue the Alarmists are more of a bane to human existence than climate change.

But the cliff at the end of the curve will be brought up, hypothetically...

This is an insane cause/effect argument.

The downward trend in deaths has nothing to do with CO2 as the OP implies.

It has to do with technology and our ability predict natural disasters. Notice earthquakes are the only thing that really causes mass casualty now. It’s because we still cannot predict those.

Some people would argue with the OP and say that causation does not equal correlation.

I would disagree.

If CO2 concentrations have increase due the use of fossil fuels as the Alarmists claim then I would argue that it is directly fossil fuels that have allowed us to develop the technology to manage climate change events.

CO2 is just an Alarmists nightmare and plant food dream byproduct of technology that has benefited the human race significantly in terms of mobility, communication, and nutritional resources which makes it easier to avoid and/or mitigate climate change events.

There were no hurricanes prior to the industrial revolution. The term is relatively new. Previously, they were just called 'Great Big Storms.'

Wrong. My previous post:
