Defend your position with chapter and verse. There are no works required for salvation other than believing Jesus is the messiah and trusting him for everlasting life.
Even the demons believe Jesus is Lord…it does not save them.
Believe and do his will.
And yes trust him .

Lets see what the demons believe...it's not what you said.
19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!
They believe in monotheism and shudder. This verse gets used all of the time for pushing faith plus works.

Paul is talking about mission roles, not authority structure. Peter is sent primarily to the Jews, Paul to the Gentiles. That’s division of labor, not a denial of Peter’s leadership. Even in that same passage, Peter is still listed first and described as someone God is working through in a unique way. And when there’s a major doctrinal dispute in Acts 15, it’s Peter who speaks decisively and settles the issue before James gives the pastoral wrap-up.
Also, think about it practically. If Peter being “apostle to the Jews” cancels out any broader role, then Paul being “apostle to the Gentiles” would make him supreme over everyone else too. But nobody argues that. Different missions don’t erase structure.
TLDR: Those are complementary roles, not competing authority.
With all due respect this argument is sinking faster than the titanic. I just don't buy any of it.

Deal with it.
Baptism is a work. It is required.
Google all the verses about baptism in the NT.
If you still think you don’t need it then I can not help you.

well it was meant in jest since we have been going back in forth since last night.
But I clearly showed him scriptures that backed my position. He did not respond in kind. Told me what he thought instead.
I don't have any ill will towards any of you even though you are wrong
i kid kid...

Imagine telling Peter , “I believe but baptism is a work and I’m not doing it.”
“Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.” Acts 2-41

#1 Believes the gospel and gets baptized
#2 Believes the gospel but doesn't ever get baptized
#3 Gets baptized but never believes the gospel

Only if he dies before you, brother.

Rome, Vatican City and the church itself is protected by secular governments and their willingness to go to war. They can avoid having to make any hard decisions or tradeoffs while criticizing their very protectors. It’s like the rich sorority girl skipping class to go to a Tax the Rich protest.
How long would Italy/Rome/the Vatican Hold if they faced a direct threat from Iran and there was no United States?

Appreciate that but I have work to do still. We are called to participate in the gift of grace. Coasting is not an option.

That’s bait….
Jesus is the way the truth and the life .
No one gets into heaven unless he approves

I do wish they would look at Just War theory again. With the advancement of technology it would change things up quite a bit. The issue is they will never be briefed at the level they need to make a sound decision on whether a war is truly just/defensive.

You don't even know what you believe friend. You are correct though. God has given all authority to judge to Jesus and Jesus has said that all who believe in him will have everlasting life. It is settled.

You do not..
The Holy Spirit is not going to leave you. You are sealed, and in the Lambs Book of Life. Forever.
It is finished.

Not all that say, “Lord Lord…”

Even if I change my mind, get fooled by the devil, buy into atheism then reject and deny God?

Lets talk about that one. Matthew 7.
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
As I've stated before in this thread. The will of the father is to believe in the in his son.
John 6:39–40
“This is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me…
For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life…”
Those saying Lord Lord did not do the will of the father (believe in his son) but instead are hoping their "works" would allow them entry into heaven.
This passage is talking about false teachers. Not some believer who didn't work hard enough.
