I’m guessing that is because the leader of each marching unit commands, “Eyes Left!” …. and he renders a hand salute to the Commander in Chief for the whole unit.
BTW…please … less narration. Let us watch the parade and hear the announcer on the PA.

it's crazy, RAVs cameras are scanning the dignitaries and almost all of them are uninterested and nearly solemn. ....what the fricking hell???
