Im no environmental snowflake but these mother frickers damn near ended life on the European continent for a generation or so, and now they want to put their bullshite reactors on pontoons and float them around the worlds oceans....?

Floating Nuclear Reactors? We've got another major nuclear disaster in the making. The nuclear fallout from Chernobyl seems fairly well contained, but IMO Fukushima is a timebomb (literally) waiting to blow. Another major earthquake in that region and 'BAM' we've got another meltdown with nuclear contaminated water poisoning the ocean. Which begs the question.....how many nuclear reactors are sitting in areas of active seismic activity?
This stuff is getting real.

I didn't say it was completely secure but "fairly well contained". Given the severity of the meltdown I believe we're somewhat safe for the time being. Certainly the installation of that massive sarcophagus will give the Ruskies more time. But hey I agree this sucka is another disaster waiting to happen. Massive forest fire with a cloud of death = not good.
The real underlying problem? Putin and his Rusky pals don't give a damn about the environment.
