Are the "O-T Lounge" people overly sensitive and rather weird?

I'm new and have posted on the Political Board where people tend to respond with serious posts stating their beliefs etc.
The O-T Lounge seems to be full of overly sensitive people that can't tolerate opinions that they disagree.

That's one board where nothing is ever taken seriously. It's more of a joke board than anything else. It can be pretty entertaining but don't ever expect serious answers to anything posted on there.

I call bullshite. They think that their Hurricane threads are newscasting the weather for the entire nation; and if one person acts non-serious in the thread people will die not hearing their newscasts. 
and fight like children on who is Jim Cantore of the thread.
They also had a very long thread mostly defending that Brian guy that murdered his GF. Swearing he didn't murder her... All because some of them had dated batshit crazy before. Most especially that 08 bully loser guy.
Their Ukraine thread was just as stupid. Defending Zelensky as if we should give him a gazillion dollars because the world not getting nuked depended on it. They were ignorant regarding the NGO's there; or our govt's color revolutions installing nazi's.
They are entertaining idgets.
