re: Are Jews a “people” or race? Are blacks a “people” or race ?

I think it’s 3 things:

Biblical Jews = a people

Israeli citizenry = a race

Everyday Joes who attend Synagogue = just Jews (as they would likely refer to themselves just on account of practicing that religion)

According to that FBI murder chart from earlier whites and Hispanics are one and the same…my guess is they are trying to not make the difference in homicide rates look any more disproportionate than they already are.

Did any one else catch that too? They used to not group whites and Hispanics together in those stats.

I was taught The only races on the planet are

Caucasoid
Negroid
Asioid
Mongoloid

Each broad category has physical attributes that identify them.

And then there are sub categories

I would like to know if they used the term
“antisemitism” or where it comes from, if so why does it seem that they only picked out one group of the Semitic people/race/ethnic group or whatever the approved way of looking at them. Are not Arabs Semitic?

Why do we use the word antisemitism and not just anti Jewish or something that was more specific to the people he blamed for the German people’s problem.
