Catholics are no different than Muslims. They will protect their religion at all cost. How any sane person can walk into a Catholic Church and not feel anything but evil is beyond me.

If you give an offering at the cathedral you are an accomplice and a part of the problem.

I'm pretty sure the Pope doesn't truly have the power to do that. Something about the independence of Bishops among equals.

I don’t know. He broke cold on Bishop Strickland in Texas but seems reluctant to discipline the heterodox/heretical Germans.

It would be best for the Church for Francis to step aside. He has been a bad pope. He causes unnecessary confusion on so many issues. Theology is his definite weakness. Pope Benedict was a theological power house compared to Francis.

If this is true then it calls the process into question.
How is a pope picked and is there any divinity involved?

Is there any evidence this was told to Vigano in the confessional? There is a major difference between a priest/bishop hearing something in "confidence" and hearing it in the confessional.

Perfect time for every Catholic to start inquiring into Orthodoxy.

I don't think the board protestants and atheists are ready for that discussion. Hamsters would explode

Although I consider the Orthodox the valid other half of the body of Christ,
The Orthodox are schizophrenic.
“We recognize the papacy. 800s
“We don’t recognize the papacy 900s
“We recognize the papacy. 1000s
“We don’t recognize the papacy 1100s”
The separation of the body of Christ by the eastern church and the Protestant church’s is reason for the apostasy we see today.
United we stand. Divided we fall.
You are naive if you think the currant crises will not come for you as well.
Pray for unity.

"Ashes to ashes, dust to dust", this is my reminder that we are all mortal and that is the same for the pope. We worship God, not another mortal man even if he is the pope. Sometimes I think the pope and some Bishops believe they have obtained worship.status. Do not confuse worship with respect, which is earned and always has a contingency requirement.

Archbishop Vigano is worshiping God, and the pope is inserting himself between the Archbishop and God.
