Uh, he was never detained by the two men, legally or otherwise.
Right, he escaped capture.
Question, it was stated he was caught in the house and ran away.
It was stated that the McMichaels saw him running after that. They caused him and that chase ended in the shooting.
Does anyone know the time line? How long from when he was caught, to when the McMichaels saw him and then how long until the shooting? Does anyone know?

I don’t know the timeline but tit GBI should be able to piece it together pretty easy.
There the video, the first 911 call the 911 call from McDaniels and then likely a time stamp
On the video of the shooting.
Almost everything will have a time stamp.

Assaulted guy with a shotgun.

Lol at pretending someone who starts a confrontation holding a gun is then acting in self defense when he shoots someone.

Yes, just trying to put it all together.

First sentence out of your mouth isn’t even accurate, STFU

Based on the initial police report and the responses the father gave they saw him running down the road and thought they recognized him from security video.
That was the most evidence that they went on. They claimed they armed themselves because several days prior they claim to have seen him reach in his pants and then assumed that meant he was armed.

Arbery instigated physical contact and was beating the guy with the gun.
The first shot was fired before making physical contact, but now it's he was beating the guy up with the gun. That's hilarious.
quote:What about shooting a shot before?
At that point, the guy with the gun has a possible claim for self defense.
Also, GTFO out with self defense, that is legit absurd to eve insinuate. You don't get to claim self defense when the victim was literally using self defense. You can't follow someone around with 3 dudes and 2 cars, the victim turn around to go the other way to avoid you, then follow him some more, then eventually use the 2 cars to corner him, then have 2 dudes get out of the cars with guns out, then claim self defense when the victim decides to stand his ground and fight for his life.
Try to use just a little bit of logic here.
quote:That's essentially what he did. Sure as shite more closer to that than to say he shot him because he was "beating the guy with the gun"
If he had shot Arbery as he was approaching the truck
quote:So to confirm, in America you can follow someone relentless while on foot with guns out? No biggie, you can just do that any time you want, is that what you're saying?
You can argue the guys shouldn't have followed him. You can argue they shouldn't have been armed. But neither one of those is a crime.
