As a born again Christian, I would like to apologize for my statements about MLK and Obama. If I have offended anyone on this board I ask for forgiveness. I know all to well that our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against power and principalities of the air, as the Word of God states

Okay, I forgive you.

But just this once...

God isn’t reading these message boards. Hate to break it to you.

Also you didn’t apologize for being white, therefor apology not valid.

I doubt you said anything that requires forgiveness.

I do not accept your apology. Grovel!

I also have no idea what this thread is for.

You didn't call MLK a woman-beater or Obama Black Jesus, did you? Because that would clearly cross a line.

I am not apologizing because I am white. Trust me. I am apologizing because my statements are not advancing the cause of Christ period

Were you stating actual facts or your opinion?

This is a slippery slope, especially in today's sensitive culture.

Been there brother. If serious, good for you. I've made plenty of apologies over the years. But thankfully, the only One we need forgiveness from is God. Keep up the good fight

Christianity offers a chance for redemption through Jesus and all of us are sinners in need of the forgiveness that Christ offers. I wish that we were all as quick to ask forgiveness for sins and offenses as you are. Bless you, brother.

God knows the hearts of each person. While this is a public gesture by the OP, I'm sure it reflects a sincere conviction.

I haven’t read anything else that you may have said before but assuming you are not joking, just remember that believers were not called to set silently while the world pushes them around and hates on them. Look back a Romans 12:2 and Isaiah 58:1 among other verses. God never intended for believers to sit on their hands and be silent in a world of sin,

Bath-house Barry is going to file a job description violation if you keep apologizing.

Yes you are correct sir. I believe what you are saying here, I am trying to be as wise as serpents but as harmless as doves.
