Another one who is either willfully obtuse, or fricking stupid.
Let me paint it in crayon for you:
A MQ4C drone is not designed for operation in hostile airspace. Period. We have other drones for that.
And if you wanted one to be shot down what would you send?
No matter how hard it makes you acting like you know everything you dont know jack shite, nor does anyone else.

If this is true, then it is the US pushing for war, not Iran.
I really don't know who to believe here. For you younger posters, I would suggest you read up on and research the Gulf Of Tonkin "incident" justifying our involvement in the Vietnam War. Our own government has lied to us before.

War with Iran would be the biggest catastrophe in American history. They have a real fu****g military. Real Russian and Chinese backing. We would not win. Let me repeat. We WOULD NOT WIN.
Ghazi, is that you?

Oh no! That makes the whole ordeal OK.

I don’t know what happened here but I firmly believe it is a possibility we flew this drone where they would see it knowing they would shoot it down.
The Military Industrial Complex is thirsty.

While I don't necessarily know who to believe, I absolutely know what to do:
Don't attack Iran.
If Israel and Saudi Arabia want a war with Iran, they can fight it themselves.

I was being facetious with the chairs and ice cream.
But the point stands. No air cover means you send your troops to slaughter if you launch a direct offensive. Ask any Iraqi who managed to escape the road out of Kuwait alive. And that was the early 90s. We have moved from Super Nintendo to PlayStation 4 since then. And they are still playing Mike Tyson’s Punch Out.

Do carry on, you have a few slower souls who are not convinced you are a clueless jackass yet, just give them a bit more time to catch up.

Exactly, CC. I can believe it is certainly plausible that we sent an easy target for them to shoot down just to get a measure of their capability. If so, it took them two swings to hit this softball off the tee. And I can also believe this is possibly another "Gulf of Tonkin" for whatever reason(s) we peasants are unaware.

Says the guy who thinks we'd fly a giant, slow drone in to Iranian airspace to get shot down on purpose.
Idiot.
ETA: I'm still waiting for one of you tards to somehow tie this to Israeli manipulation.

Iran under the Shah certainly kept the Shia/Sunni peace in the ME even though there was certainly the Arab/Israili conflicts going...still small potatos compared to what happened after his overthrow.
The Iraq/Iran war probably lasts a month if Iran had the Shah's military...I honestly doubt Sadaam would've even screwed with em.
