and still have the MSM prop you up simply because their beliefs align with yours. This c*nt would be kicked to the curb faster than Palin if she had a (R) after her name.
She makes Palin look like a particle physicist

You and AOC should read American Nations by Colin Woodward. Then you’d understand that the reason we used this framework for our republic because it was the only way to coalesce the competing interests of the fundamentally different societies who happened to be living on the same continent.

Electoral College is the rule.
The DNC/MSM Political Complex is just butt hurt because it was her turn!

Crenshaw is wrong on the impact of ending the Electoral College. A presidential candidate who focused only on America’s cities and urban centers would lose — there just aren’t enough votes.
Basic math and party density in the top 10 most populated cities shits all over this guy's thesis. Aside from that, he also suffers from a lack of forward thinking.
The biggest issue with removal of the EC is that the top 10 most populous states house over 50% of US citizens.
Not having an EC means anyone looking to get elected is going to focus heavily on:
1. California
2. Texas
3. Florida
4. New York
5. Pennsylvania
6. Illinois
7. Ohio
8. Georgia
9. North Carolina
10. Michigan
To attempt to buck the trend someone would need to focus somewhat on those states while heavily on the next 10:
1. New Jersey
2. Virginia
3. Washington
4. Arizona
5. Massachusetts
6. Tennessee
7. Indiana
8. Missouri
9. Maryland
10. Wisconsin
At this point you've reached out to appeal to ~75% of the population but you haven't even made it to half the states. That appeal means proposing legislation that benefits these areas while generally ignoring the rest of the country.
Eventually, as parties consolidated their power bases in these cities we would get into a "favorite son" situation where the philosophy would be that unless you were born in one of those top 10 states you don't have much chance of winning.

If I read the article correctly, aoc said we should abolish the electoral college. From there, the writer states everything else as I cannot find anything further attributed to aoc. As such, the premise of the article is FOS.
As for abolishing, there is no reason to campaign in california or new york (or oregon/washington) thus, any republican is way behind in popular vote already. Add to that other liberal areas and it is easy to see a democrat getting the majority based almost exclusively on urban centers. That means that california, new york, chicago, detroit, cleveland etc are the ones determining our future.
Do we as a society really want that?

I pledge allegiance
To the flag
Of the United States of America.
And to the republic
For which it stands
One nation, under God, indivisible
With liberty and justice for all.
