She is both right and wrong.
A veteran that is inpatient at a VA facility actually gets pretty good care. Most VA physicians are forigen nationals and are very smart and very good. Their bedside manner sucks but they handle business.
The problem is when veterans are not inpatient.
There is no way to communicate with them for day to day stuff.

Inpatient is good and they shower their people with DME that no other payor would provide.

Are you high, or just uninformed? I'm a disabled veteran and a DME provider. Your statement is ludicrous! To get a CPAP from the VA, there is a, at least, 2 month wait. If you have private insurance, you can get one same day the Rx is written.
