I've traveled and lived all across Europe and Asia, not mention Latin America...human nature is very similar...people of all cultures very often look for someone else to blame for their weaknesses and failures...remember Paris was once the center of the world...the French are still but-hurt from WWII...but so are the Russians...and the Chinks,etc...and remember one more important item--your version of history is determined by who the author is of the book you read...

Was this before or after Germans sent 10000 women and children to be exterminated?

Allied bombed the frick out innocent European citizens killing hundreds of thousands, nuked innocent Japanese, put the Japanese Americans in camps, let German POWs starve after the war ended, executed many during war time, turned away jewish refugees at our borders. War is not perfect and even the victors commit horrible atrocities. Your average German was no different than your average American and pretending we are superior to them because "we won" and allowed communism to frick Europe over is laughable.

And if you know your history, the French did very little to fight Hitler when he invaded their country. Since they had no real men left, they had to rely on U.S. and British forces to liberate their country.

We should also remember that this surrender monkey would be a German slave but for the usa.

Russia would have eventually won that war. Russia threw everyone into that war. They lost more than everyone combined in casualties. It's like they had unlimited manpower.

As long as the Brits had a decent Western front.

We were never invaded by Germany...the American public was against going to war again...and losing another generation of sons.

Why this assclown acts like America had some duty to a European conflict is crazy talk.

We were attacked on a few tiny islands far off our mainland and it wasn't by a European power. We had interests in the Pacific theater...very little at the time in Europe.

We gained huge interests in Europe by fighting and staying in Europe for the rest of the century.

That's all well and good, obviously speculative, what is true is that the USA did join the war and was a huge part of winning it, therefore, this surrender monkey owes his freedom to the good ole usa

France really confronted fascism when they stopped Hitler's:

Jewish camps
Remilitarization of the Rhine
Take over of Austria
Takeover of the Sudentenland
Annexation of Czechoslovakia
Annexation of Memel
Italy's conquest of Ethiopia
Italy's conquest of Albania

Real hardline stance there.

And maybe if it was not for France we would still be paying taxes to England.

This reminds me of a story I heard about a grandfather who was chastising his grandson for playing video games too much:

“When I was your age”, he continued, “my buddies and I went to Paris, We went to the Moulin Rouge and I fricked a dancer on stage, pissed on the bartender and didn’t pay for my drinks all night!” The grandson thinks his grandfather is right. He goes to Paris and the Moulin Rouge with his friends. He comes back only three days later covered in bruises, and with a broken arm. The grandfather asks, “What the hell happened to you?” The grandson says, “I did just like you did. I went to the Moulin Rouge; I tried to frick a dancer on stage and piss on the bartender — but they beat the shite out of me and stole all the cash in my wallet!” The grandfather says, “Well who the frick did you go with boy?” The grandson says through tears, “My friends from school, who did you go with?” The grandfather says, “Well… the Nazis”

People upvoting/approving the Nazi takeover of Paris.

That is what you got out of the post? My assumption was that it is sooooooooo shitty there now that even the Nazis would be an improvement. Maybe I misunderstood the post.

You can read Kurt Vonnegut about the bombing of Dresden.

You can read The Forgotten Soldier - A memior by a German soldier.

First, the key facts about the bombing of Dresden on the night of February 13-14, 1945, 10 weeks before Germany's surrender, when everyone knew that Germany was beaten: Dresden was a beautiful Baroque city known as the Florence of the north. It had no war industry and little military value. Its population of 630,000 had been doubled by German refugees, mainly peasants from Silesia fleeing the Red Army.

The concerted British and American attack dropped 650,000 incendiary bombs, causing a firestorm engulfing eight square miles and killing an estimated 135,000 men, women and children.

British historian Paul Johnson has called the bombing "the greatest Anglo American Moral disaster in the war against Germany."

What woman would want to frick the guy who gave up and surrendered their country?

I don't blame them.

Big mistake was letting our WW1 soldiers use condoms. French women were thrilled to sleep with winners who didn't call them Fraulein, but thanks to the rubbers our soldiers were using, we missed an opportunity to leave an improved French bloodline.

If it weren't for the French, the US would be a feaux country like Canada.

A feaux country that would have to bail their arse out in WW2 nonetheless.
