Secret Service, maybe not mass chaos, but CIA, no fricking way. 3/4 of the nation will think that the CIA as a whole had him killed, and the other 1/4 are stupid. It would be fires in the street if that were to happen.

The CIA engages in covert action, most often at America's behest. So yeah, they're pretty untrustworthy, particularly if you've got intentions of harming the United States.
As for undermining Trump, Brennan certainly has, but there is very little evidence of any large scale campaign to undermine Trump. You're regurgitating the thoughts of other posters, who are regurgitating the writings of pro-Trump blogs and the like.
If you genuinely think the CIA acts as America's secret police, you apparently have no concept of the actions of secret police in other countries. Which, wouldn't surprise me.

People were handwringing when Obama was inaugurated and nothing happened. He was far more likely to have something like this happen to him than Trump.

The Secret Service was part of the Treasury and only investigated financial crimes at the time of Garfield and McKinely.
The Secret Service did not get the mission for Presidential Protection until after McKinely was assassinated
Congress authorized that function for the SS in 1901.

That link "speculated on what might happen if Trump, Mike Pence and the Congressional leaders were all killed during the ceremony".
It would be Pence if something happened to Trump
