I have met him twice. I can tell you he is approachable and down to earth. Also he applies a business sense to his political meetings and believes we should be good stewards with the peoples money.

Same here. Girl I was dating at the time was a big fan so I brought her and stood in that big arse line. I wouldn’t have voted for him if I was old enough to vote in the 90s, but I never had a huge issue with him, unlike his bitch wife.

President Reagan in the 80s when I was assigned to the Old Guard. GHWB at an event at LSU when he was running for President (IIRC).

I got a hug and a handshake from Loretta Lynn on stage at a concert back in my college days. That ranks above any political encounter for me.
